The
Digital Media Art students of Art 175 represent a diverse and talented group of young artists and programmers exploring code as a medium of creative expression at
San José State University in Fall 2019.
These students worked diligently to hone their web development skills building websites, games, webVR applications, particle systems and 3D objects using HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Their work reveals a wide range of talent, aesthetics and approaches to creative coding for the web and online 3D environments.
From interactive 3D to computer games, sonification to animated illustrations and web design, these digital media artists are pushing the boundaries of code and creativity while expanding their knowledge of tools and technologies in the 21st century.
Given the broad range of projects created, and the need for a multiplicity of meanings and intents, the students have chosen to apply 3 different names to the online exhibition including:
The floor is Java, Stack Overflow at 4 in the morning, and
Control-C/ Control-V
